An organisation founded in 1760 started their DEI journey in 2020 and following the results of an employee engagement survey found that their under-represented staff members do not feel fully included in the organisation. We were commissioned to conduct an independent lived experience review into the organisation.
We conducted a deep dive collating primary and secondary data through an all-staff employee survey, semi-structure 1-2-1 interviews and listening circles. We were able to put together a report with key recommendations and using the outcome from the report worked with the DEI Steering Committee of 18 to put together a three-year action plan. We worked with the organisation to roll out the communication internally, presenting to the board, the leadership team and in their town hall.
Separately, we have worked with the organisation to support the development of their employee networks to becoming one that is effective and strategic and other key areas that they want to see change and develop, especially their recruitment, leadership engagement and supply chain.
